St. Lawrence Churchyard Northfield
BirminghamIU has recently returned back to one of its popular locations in Northfield, St. Lawrence churchyard, although nothing much has really happened here we have caught several light anomalies on camera and Gareth & Paul have managed to successfully clear 5 spirits there. These spirits were confused and/or upset, but after being given some understanding and compassion, they were happy to go to the light. BirminghamIU never make anyone who doesn’t want to leave, go or force any spirits to the light against their wishes. The only exception to this rule is in rare extreme circumstances where a spirit is proven to be truly evil and not just confused, misunderstood or angry, refusing repeated attempts at compassion or reason, causing relentless emotional harm or otherwise to someone living. At all times we were respectful at St Lawrence as always and it was a promising start after repeated failed attempts to experience the paranormal here in the past.
Other than one amazing investigation, nothing much has happened at this location but in saying that however it is still a fantastic historical location to visit and the atmosphere is psychically very heavy in parts.
The church itself dates back to Norman times and although it hasn’t seen as much action as the church in Curdworth which has seen much action in the English Civil War it is still however a remarkable church and an excellent interesting location.
No doubt this location is more active than one initially thinks but after returning back to it so many times it is a shame not to experienced more. The paranormal doesn’t always work this way and sometimes one has to realise that not everywhere is active, even if spirits exist, they’re not always willing to talk either.
The common factor with churchyards and cemetery’s is that some people believe that they are all active. This is simply not the case. The reason some are more active than others is that the spirit people that haunt there must have a reason to haunt. The would be no other reason as there is no sense in hanging round and attaching yourself to your physical body once you have sadly passed away. Some of these reasons include connection to the church and or visiting someone there in the physical life. Obviously there a many more reasons but unfortunately it has been very hard for BirminghamIU to distinguish what exactly is paranormal at St. Lawrence as it appears whatever spirits are there just don’t want to communicate as easily as some locations.
