St Peters Churchyard Harborne

St Peter’s church in Harborne in Birmingham dates back to the 14th Century. The graveyard is quite extensive and has various public footpaths leading through it. Different parts of the graveyard are from different eras in time, although I suspect that many original graves have long gone and been replaced by newer burials. Some graves are totally abandoned deep within woodland that’s completely over grown. The adjoining old coaching inn, named The Bell Inn is allegedly haunted and serves as a place of refreshment after an investigation.

After visiting this location on numerous occasions, we haven’t experienced much paranormal activity. It’s not to say there isn’t any ghost and spirits at the location, but they at least aren’t very willing to do anything or communicate. Our most interesting results at this location are photographs we have taken at the front of the location in the pub car park. On a few occasions we have mysteriously caught a strange mist, when taking another photo straight afterwards, the mist is gone. No-one was smoking nearby and we was careful not to breath heavily in front of the camera. On the one occasion it wasn’t even cold enough to see anyone’s breath and it’s strange this is the only place we’d captured this mist throughout the large location. See the mist photos towards the end of the gallery.
