Don't Automatically Assume Everything is Caused By Paranormal Activity!

When on a paranormal investigation and you experience something that you believe to be paranormal, don’t automatically presume it’s caused by paranormal activity as at least 90% of alleged activity turns out to have a logical explanation and some people including experienced parapsychologists argue that it’s more like 98%-99%.

Presuming all alleged activity is caused by paranormal activity before thoroughly investigating is a mistake a lot of people make as they want to experience paranormal activity and get evidence so much. It’s good to have a healthy level of scepticism with carefully balanced open mindedness. Don’t let yourself get too excited and keep a clear head if you do experience or capture what you initially believe is caused by paranormal activity.

For instance, don’t assume an ‘orb’ captured on digital camera is definitely caused by a spirit, it could be caused by lots of other things reflecting including insects and dust for instance. Another example is assuming tapping is a definitely a spirit communicating, you should consider the expansion and contraction of materials, electrical equipment, noise from neighbours, movement in pipes, mice / vermin and objects resuming their normal shape after applying pressure like floor boards or perhaps chairs. I wouldn’t be 100% convinced unless I could certainly get 1 taps for “no” and 2 taps for “yes” repeatedly and I’m totally sure it’s not someone like a neighbour tapping back. Achieving this kind of genuine spirit communication is very rare to achieve.
