From well before BirminghamIU was founded, we have been on various paid investigations with various groups. We have found that most groups lack in professionalism and are not committed to doing a genuine 100% vigil for serious paranormal investigators or people who are very serious to learn paranormal investigation techniques. They are great for people if they are only looking for an entertaining evening instead of a serious paranormal investigation, but often leave serious paranormal investigators or people really wanting to learn disappointed.

I have just looked across the Internet and have still found very little that offers this kind of evening, instead they appear to be mainly orientated towards entertainment and spend a lot of time demonstrating rather than getting everyone involved in the team.

We would love to provide a serious 100% paranormal investigation including initially taking base line tests, vigils and debrief for people to attend that isn't trying to entertain, but it 100% genuine in every way. It would get everyone 100% involved as part of the investigation team, training would be given throughout where required. Often actually going into the deep end and taking part in an investigation is the best training. We want people to really experience what it is really like to investigate the paranormal, not like Most Haunted in any way and not just watching other people performing.

To do this, we are looking for a suitable location at an affordable cost. We obviously need interested people that will attend. The cost will be only the price of the venue and expenses split between the attendees and we won't make a profit, so keeping the cost to a minimum.

If anyone would be willing to help with this goal, please contact us.

Many Thanks,

Paul
