My first ever investigation with BirminghamIU was in a private residence of one of the founding member's, Paul. At the time we had very limited kit and had to improvise, but it was exciting because Paul had 12 years experience in this field so I gained a lot of first hand experience from him. I really start using my psychic skills at this location which seem to stir up a lot of activity, some good and some otherwise. We caught what sounded like E.V.P. and will still be putting this on-line soon. Various tapping and banging was heard at various times, especially when we asked out. Also Paul saw what he thought was a shadow in the kitchen. Before we investigated this location, Paul heard someone laugh at him, followed by numerous loud knocks and bangs, which he definitely said was from within the location, not from neighbours. Unfortunately Paul has now moved since the investigation to a new residence and we can no longer investigate. It was interesting however as a first location for BirminghamIU to use as part of our training and it's even more interesting that since Paul moved out, a housing association worker at the premises actually revealed that exact area as allegedly haunted without any prompting what-so-ever.

The investigation's at Pauls private residence were interesting to say the least. I can totaly agree with Peter in the sense that we as a group learned alot from this.

If i can always say one thing it's that training is crucial to a succesful team and that there is always somethings in investigating that can be learned further or improved by doing this.

It's a shame that we cannot work further at this location as it was exceptionaly interesting what evidence we did get at this location.
