  Photographs of Special Interest . . .

I cannot say for definate that any of these strange light anomalies are definately caused by ghost/spirit activity, but at the moment they are unexplained. Please click the photos to enlarge them.

The first 2 photographs above were taken at a new private location near Birmingham by our founder member Paul. The other founder members witnessed the photographs being taken and no-one was smoking. Although it was a fairly cold night in early October, Paul wasn't heavily breathing and even if he was, we couldn't replicate anything like this dense mist when we later breathed very heavily in front of the camera as an experiment. The second photograph was taken seconds later and the dense mist was gone.

The 3rd photograph was taken on a later date at the same new private location after taking numerous photographs without anything unusual appearing what-so-ever. It was a warmer night towards the middle of October and we couldn't see our breath at all. The strange swirls of mist are unmistakable and again it wasn't caused by anyone smoking.

The last photograph was taken in a different location in Birmingham and shows the most light anomalies BirminghamIU have ever caught on a single photograph to date. These anomalies are known to some as 'orbs'. These anomalies tend to appear far more often than unexplained mist on photographs. Some people believe 'orbs' are caused by dust particles and the subject is quite controversal, but we tend to disagree on most occassions. Most 'orbs' seem to take on a similar form in varying size and density. They can appear on one photo and often not on the next in exactly the same location. Sometimes if one takes photographs quickly enough in succession, some 'orbs' appear to move across the picture.

The original photographs were captured in a much higher resolution than shown for the purpose of this website, if you would like to study these or any other investigation photographs in full size, please contact us.
